Robert F Platner has over 30 years in the trust business most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Trust Company of Lehigh Valley. Prior to that Mr. Platner was a General Partner of Platner & Associates, a Registered Investment Advisor. He earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration at the State University of New York at Albany and his M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickenson University, Teaneck, NJ. Mr. Platner was formerly the head of the Investment Department of Merchants National Bank. Prior to working at Merchants, he was a Senior Investment Officer in the Investment Advisory Division of Chemical Bank. Mr. Platner was on the Lehigh County Historical Society Board for over 10 years and served as its Treasurer for six years. He also served as a board member of the Girls' Club of Allentown for six years. Currently, he is active as a board member of the ARC - Association of Retarded Citizens and serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the America on Wheels Foundation.
